This is accomplished by ensuring the appropriate care for the five major sub-components of holistic health: physical, emotional. social, spiritual, and intellectual. This approach to life and health comes with the understanding that each of these components are interdependent on each other to produce an overall healthy person.

Is holistic healthcare the same as naturopathic care?

No. A common misconception is that the term “holistic” is synonymous to “naturopathic”. Holistic healthcare simply means that you seek to provide care for your entire person - mind, body, and soul. This care can be accomplished through the use of SEVERAL disciplines, to include naturopathic care, “western medicine”, chiropractic care, pharmaceutical care, spiritual healers, and many many more. Each person seeking holistic healthcare gets the autonomy to choose what services are right for their journey, exemplifying the beauty of this lifestyle approach.

What is a health and wellness Advocate?

A health and wellness advocate is a pivotal component to the holistic healthcare approach. They are professionals, with various backgrounds, that partner with their clients to improve their well-being by generating self-directed, lasting lifestyle changes that are in line with the client’s core values. These professionals are meant to serve as a source of education, guidance, and above all else - ACCOUNTABILITY.

does a health Advocate replace my medical provider?

No. Regardless of their educational background, a health advocate is responsible for providing you with education, motivation, and empowerment to have control of your health. At no point does a health advocate serve as a medical provider, nor do they provide you with medical advice. All information and suggestions that come from your health advocate should be directed to your medical provider to ensure they align with your medical plan of care.

what is functional nutrition?

Functional nutrition is a form of care that focuses on building and improving a person’s health through the use of nutrition to restore proper physiological functioning of the body. In essence, it is the use of nutrition to ensure your body is operating in a healthy capacity.

Will i have to be on a strict diet?

Not necessarily. Some people prefer to have regimented, mapped-out plans for them to follow. This approach is completely acceptable, but not required. Functional nutrition can be achieved WITHOUT RESTRICTIONS to your diet. Through proper education and understanding of essential nutritional information, you can live a healthy life and maintain your optimal body without confining yourself to a strict diet.

Will my health Advocate help me reduce my stress level?

This is absolutely possible! A health advocate can utilize certain techniques of motivation and empowerment to help you find energetic balance and feel more empowered about your health. The use of these techniques to promote healthy lifestyle changes can certainly lead to a reduction in stress.

What is spiritual Health?

Spiritual health refers to the wellness of personal matters that involve our values and beliefs. This can, but certainly does not have to, include a denominational belief. Spiritual health solely aims to identify your core values, correlate them to what you believe the meaning of life is, and ensure you are balancing and fulfilling those beliefs.

Will spiritual health conflict with my religious beliefs?

Not at all. The beauty of our soul is that it has the flexibility to be beautifully diverse. Each of us is on our own path with our own values and beliefs. These should all be respected and cherished. Your spiritual health is unique because it belongs to only one person - YOU. Will my Advocacu take place online or in person?

Both. Certain services are offered virtually, while others are offered in a face-to-face setting. The beauty of our services is that you get the autonomy to make it what you want. If you are on-the-go and need more of a virtual relationship with your advocate - YOU GOT IT! If you enjoy that one-on-one feeling of sitting down with your advocate (and are local) - YOU GOT IT! This is all about promoting the best you. You tell us what works best for you, and we design your program to meet your needs as best we can.
